This winter scene takes place on a cold snowy Christmas Eve, as the sun sets across the frozen and snow covered landscape of campus. Standing in the foreground is the log chapel nestled amongst the evergreen trees. If the viewer directs their attention across the frozen Saint Mary’s lake, they will see the old Holy Cross Hall where it once proudly stood on and elevated hill along the shoreline.
